Evaluation of Ruta graveolen, coriander and basil seed extracts as natural additives on productive performance, blood profiles and egg quality of White Leghorn layers

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of mixtures Ruta graveolen (Rg), coriander (C), and basil (B) seed extracts on productive performance, blood profiles, egg quality chemi-cal composition White Leghorn (WL) layers. One hundred eighty WL layers at twenty- six weeks age were randomly distributed four treatments, each replicated three times with fifteen per replications in a completely randomized design kept deep litter system for eight weeks. treatments (T) water containing graveolen, coriander, extract proportion 0 ml (T1), 2 (T2), 4ml (T3), 6 (T4) liter water. hen day pro-duction (HDEP) significantly (P<0.05) higher T3 (50.75%). Serum cholesterol LDL (low-density lipoprotein) levels decreased while, HDL (high-density globulin increased (P<0.01) when compared control. There no significant differences (P>0.05) among weight, albumen yolk shell weight thickness. Generally; Rg, C, B 4ml/1lt drinking could increase HDEP reduce serum cholesterol.
